Bao Soho — London
About Bao Soho
Bao Soho at 53 Lexington Street is the original location of London's acclaimed Taiwanese restaurant, which has held a Michelin Bib Gourmand for nine consecutive years. Starting as a street food stall in Hackney's Netil Market, Bao opened in Soho in 2015 and quickly became one of London's most talked-about restaurants. The menu specialises in xiao chi small plates and signature pillowy steamed bao buns with fillings including the classic braised pork, fried chicken, and daikon. While not exclusively vegan, vegetarian options include the battered sweet potato with pickled plum ketchup and mushroom-based preparations.
